Vienanmeri
Kolmihaarainan lahti, joka työntyy Barentsin mereltä kohti lounasta erottaen Fennoskandian Itä-Euroopan mantereesta. Vienanmeren luoteisosa, Kantalahti, työntyy Kuolan niemimaan ja Vienan-Karjalan väliin. Fennoskandian kaakkoisraja kulkee Vienanmeren eteläosasta, Äänislahdesta Äänisenkannaksen poikki Ääniselle. Vienanmereen laskee kolme suurta jokea: Vienanjoki Vienanlahteen, Äänisjoki Äänislahteen ja Nivajoki Kantalahteen.
The White Sea
A three-gulfed bay separated from the Barents Sea, protruding southwest into northern Russia and dividing Fennoscandia from the eastern European continent. The northwestern part of the White Sea, the Kandalaksha Gulf indents the coastline between the Kola Peninsula and Dvina-Karelia. The southeastern border of Fennoscandia runs from the southern end of the White Sea from the Gulf of Onega, across the Onega Isthmus to Lake Onega. Three large rivers flow into the White Sea: the Onega into the Gulf of Onega, the Dvina into the Gulf of Dvina and the Niva into the Kandalaksha Gulf.
