Fishing using method called Lippoaminen
A method of catching salmon. A shelter against the current was made so that the fish could rest. When they did so, they could be pulled out in a large landing net. The word was also used to refer to the digging of a hollow in the bed of a small river, from which it was easy to catch the fish with a landing net.
