<P align="justify"> Wolf (<i>C … <P align="justify"> Wolf (<i>Canis lupus</i>). The largest canine in Finland, the wolf has a body length of 90-135 cm with a tail 40-50 cm long and it weighs 20-50 kg. The wolf has adapted to a variety of habitats from the forests to the tundra. It generally moves at dusk and at night, roaming over long distances. Wolves live in pairs or in small packs led by a dominant pair. They mainly hunt elk and other members of the Cervidae family, but they also feed on other sources of meat including domestic animals. The cubs (1-10) are born in May or June, and they remain with their parents at least until the following winter. The wolf lives to an age of 15-17 years.
