<P align= justify > <i>Golgadeapmi</i> is method of fishing in which nets are cast across the river and a drift net is released downstream as far as the fixed net. On the Tenonjoki, drift nets might be released downstream for several kilometres, but in more rocky rivers shorter nets are used. A cross made of planks is attached to one end of the drift net and it is carried downstream by the current. At the other end is the fisherman s boat.
