{{Kuvalinkki|Harjus.jpg|European grayling}}
The grayling (Thymallus thymallus) is a salmonoid common in the lakes and slow flowing rivers of the region. The grayling is 24 40 cm in length. Specimens exceeding 50 cm and 2 kg in weight are rare. Grayling spawn in spring or early summer on gravel beds, and the eggs hatch less than a month later. They feed off bottom-dwelling animals, insects and their larvae, and the larger individuals off small fish.

{{Artikkelilinkki|0808|Fish}}
