Alexandra Yakolevna Efimenko (1848-1918) published in 1878 a work on the legal customs of the Saami. the Karelians and the Nenets, entitled Yuridcheskie obuchay loparey, korelov i samoedov (St. Petersburg 1878, 80 pp.). The subject has been divided up as follows: civil law, criminal law, the judiciary and society.
