|artikkeliteksti=<P align="justify"> In 1944 a national cultural association called Sällskapet Same-Ätnam /Lapska odlingens framtid was founded in Sweden. Later the name was changed to Same-Ätnam. The aim of the association is mainly to promote Saami handicrafts, but it also supports the Saami language, theatre, literature and music. The association is represented in elections for the Swedish Saami Parliament by a party called Saemien Eatname . It is based in Arvidjaur in the South Saami region.</P>
